Le trio a du jouer à peu près partout en Europe où il y avait suffisamment d’électricité pour accueillir leur bordel heavyrock. Un nouvel album, "Hangover the top", sur l’impecc’ label italien Africantape. Histoire de commencer par le commencement, on a donc à faire à trois branquignols rigolards et passionnés (2 gars et une fille, drumkit, guitares et claviers), qui, comme tout un tas de jeunes de leur âge, s’amusent à fracasser les genres, histoire d’inventer une musique d’époque : là, on y entend un peu de kraut, un peu de post punk, un peu de noise, beaucoup de rock’n’roll, le tout réinventé à la sauce ultra heavy… Enregistré l’hiver dernier au Skol Studio, neuf titres, énergie à très haute dose, mi tarabiscotés mi simple et funky, une reprise quasi parfaite du Here Come The Warm Jets de Brian Eno, quelques clins d’yeux (mon dieu les titres des chansons, type Reste bien tranquille, Conan le Bastard, Moustache 34, Roquedur, ou alors les plans hards…), des phases synthétiques et quelques hymnes vocodés, et au final un sacré bazar ultrapowerfull et funky, qui rappelle aux plus sceptiques que le rock fort reste une spécialité bien française, qui plus est quand il est joué avec une telle maitrise ironique et puissante. A PROPOS DE SLÜTSPÜRT

The music of Slütspürt is often hard to capture in words, because the band has been experimenting with an awful number of different things over the last 6 years; home-build instruments, instruments ripped apart, instruments hardly working but also plain old electric guitars, drums, saxophones, power-tools and so on. You might say that the foundation of Slütspüts's musical interaction is improvisation and free music. Lately the band has been working intensely with drones, feedback and noise, witch often lead into playing very long pieces using violin, electric guitars, laptop, saxophones, ethnical instruments and other objects. These long pieces can also hold elements of folk inspired improvisation, ambient electronic parts and single chord guitar striking.

The four members of Slütspürt are also the heart of the experimental music collective yoyooyoy. In yoyooyoy there are 10 working bands, numerous side and solo projects, all consisting of at least one of the four Slütspürt members. yoyooyoy has made 18 releases and done more than 200 shows in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany.
