Davis on guitar and vocals with a rotating cast of musicians, combining pop influences and clever lyricism with elements that come straight from the garage. Davis started out in 90's LA girl group the Red Aunts (Sympathy For The Record Industry, Epitaph Records) who boasted producer credits by Brett Gurewitz (Bad Religion) and the much revered Mick Collins of Gories and Dirtbombs fame. She went on to join Collins as drummer in the Screws (In The Red Records) and helped formed Beehive and the Barracudas (Swami Records) which features members of the Hot Snakes and Rocket From The Crypt. The Two Tears released the full length CD "Enjoy Yourself" on Birmingham, Alabama's Bent Rail Foundation in 2004 after which Davis packed up, moved to Paris, France and began touring around Europe as a "one lady band". Now residing in the Middle East, her new record was released in February 2007 by Simple Social Graces Discos. Just back from a successful U.K. tour, look for the Two Tears in Spain, France and beyond in June, back home in the U.S. in September and again in Europe in October 2007! Kerry Davis is a rock and roll queen. From her time in the seminal Red Aunts who were among the most influential of the early 90's all girl rock bands to her collaboration with the brilliant Beehive And The Baracudas Kerry Davis's voice, guitar style and personality has set her apart from the rest of the modern garage rockers.
